Sandra is responsible to the Board and to the ACT community. Her role is to ensure that Cancer Council ACT fulfils its’ Mission through the successful implementation of the Strategic Plan. This includes leading and working with her team and external stakeholders to achieve the objectives of the specific Cancer Council programs.
Finance and Corporate Services Manager
Philip is responsible for the organisation’s financial control and the development and implementation of systems and infrastructure required to support and position the organisation for future growth.
Events & Fundraising Manager
Lisa is responsible for the strategic management and successful delivery of all national and state fundraising events in the ACT including Relay For Life, Australia's Biggest Morning Tea, Daffodil Day, Pink Ribbon Day and Girls Night In.
EA to Chief Executive Officer
Peta provides high level executive support to Sandra and The Cancer Council ACT Board. Her aim is to keep one step ahead of our busy CEO.
Donor Relations Manager
Alice coordinates Cancer Council ACT's fundraising through Direct Mail Appeals, Regular Giving, In Memory Donations, Workplace Giving and Bequests.
SunSmart Services Coordinator
David is responsible for coordinating the National SunSmart Early Childhood and Schools Program in the ACT and supporting local workplaces with sun protection education, resource development, community awareness, social media and media inquiries relating to skin cancer prevention, UV and vitamin D.
Tobacco Action Officer
Cindy coordinates the smoking cessation program through the delivery of quit smoking courses, training for health professionals and counselling sessions for individuals. Cindy also takes an active role in health promotion to encourage people to remain non-smokers.
Cancer Information Consultant
Kate coordinates the Cancer Information and Supportive Care Service, as well as administering Cancer Council ACT's cancer research grants.
Eliza is responsible for Cancer Council Accounts Payable, Receivable and Payroll. Eliza also assists our Manager Finance and Corporate Services with financial reporting, ledger reconciliations and ICT matters.
Program Administrator - Supportive Care and Fundraising
Sue coordinates the wig service, reception duties and supportive care administration.
Fundraising Events Coordinator
Paulina is responsible for the day-to-day planning and execution of national and local fundraising events in the ACT.
