Cancer Council 13 11 20 is a free, confidential telephone information and support service. Specially trained staff can answer questions about all aspects of cancer, assist with practical and emotional support and advise callers about specific services appropriate to their needs and location. Operates weekdays 9:00am-5:00pm.

A 24 hour telephone health advice service staffed by registered nurses to provide expert health advice about any health issue and what action to take.

Lung Foundation Australia Information and Support Line

Provides information and support to people living with lung cancer, mesothelioma or rarer thoracic cancers. People can call and speak to the Lung Cancer Support Nurse on Mondays to Thursdays.

Provides advice and assistance to support individuals who are trying to stop smoking.

Provides quit smoking courses, workplace and community quit smoking seminars, individual counselling and training for health professionals and workers within special settings to increase their capacity to help their clients stop smoking.

Works to raise awareness of skin cancer and promote positive sun protection behaviour. Offers local indoor and outdoor workplaces, organisations, government departments and community groups the opportunity to learn more about skin cancer prevention and awareness including the importance of early detection by providing onsite seminars.
