Sandra is responsible to the Board and to the ACT community. Her role is to ensure that Cancer Council ACT fulfils its’ Mission through the successful implementation of the Strategic Plan. This includes leading and working with her team and external stakeholders to achieve the objectives of the specific Cancer Council programs.
Philip is responsible for the organisation’s financial control and the development and implementation of systems and infrastructure required to support and position the organisation for future growth.
As the Fundraising Manager, Amanda is responsible for fundraising income and developing opportunities through event fundraising, community fundraising, campaigns and partnerships.
The Executive Assistant works primarily to the CEO and is required to ensure the CEO’s office runs smoothly, whilst also assisting where required in other areas.
Kate coordinates the Cancer Information and Supportive Care Service, as well as administering Cancer Council ACT's cancer research grants.
David is responsible for coordinating the National SunSmart Early Childhood and Schools Program here in the ACT, supporting local workplaces with sun protection education, local & national resource development and community engagement & awareness around skin cancer prevention and UV protection.
Cindy coordinates the smoking cessation program through the delivery of quit smoking courses, training for health professionals and counselling sessions for individuals. Cindy also takes an active role in health promotion to encourage people to remain non-smokers.
Eliza is responsible for Cancer Council Accounts Payable, Receivable and Payroll. Eliza also assists our Manager Finance and Corporate Services with financial reporting, ledger reconciliations and ICT matters.
Sue coordinates the wig service, reception duties and supportive care administration.
Responsible for all facets of fundraising event and campaign administration.
Vanessa is responsible for donor relationships and related programs. Vanessa manages communications with all donors and coordinates donations including regular giving, workplace giving, gift in wills and in memory contributions.
