Daffodil Day 2024 is just around the corner!

Daffodil Day 2024 is just around the corner!

Cancer Council ACT is asking our wonderful Canberra community to come together throughout August and help fund vital cancer research this Daffodil Day.

The official date for Daffodil Day is Thursday 22 August, but you can get involved and help support this special day any time throughout August.

This year, Daffodil Day celebrates 38 years of turning Australia yellow, with Cancer Council hoping to raise more than $2.6 million for cancer research nationwide.

Cancer Council works across every aspect of cancer, but we rely on the generosity of community donations to help fund our work. We all have the ability to create change in the lives of people impacted by cancer by funding cancer research. With your support, it’s all of us against cancer.

Here are 4 ways you can give hope this Daffodil Day:

1. Buy a bunch of Daffodils

You can pre-order your fresh daffodils by filling out your details on this form or, purchase a bunch on Daffodil Day at one of our stalls! Brighten up your home or office by adding a pop of yellow.

2. Visit one of our Daffodil Day stalls

Our wonderful volunteers will be at our Daffodil Day sites across Canberra on Thursday, 22 August. Find out more here.

3. Fundraise

Host a fundraiser - wear yellow at your workplace, school or with friends, take the Daffodil Day Dip or hold a yellow morning tea. The possibilities are endless! Your fundraiser can be as big or as small as you like, the only requirement is that you have FUN! If you are a part of an organisation, we have created a Workplace Toolkit which you can download now!
