Cancer Council ACT offers free brief intervention training to anyone at a community service organisation who may be able to support someone to quit vaping or smoking, or end their nicotine dependence. The training is designed to build confidence and motivation in providing quit support through the "Ask, Advise, Help" model, so that all staff can deliver safe and effective support for people with nicotine dependence when they feel it is appropriate.
This training is informed by our existing work across many different community service organisations in the ACT, and can be tailored to suit the needs of your service. If your clients would benefit from being able to access quit support through your service, book below or contact our team to discuss how we can best help your staff.
