Honour your loved one
When someone close to you passes away, a gift to Cancer Council ACT can be a meaningful tribute to your loved one. It is also a way to express hope that we will one day beat cancer.
Donations made in tribute to a loved one can help us to invest in critical cancer research for the benefit of all Australians. We are also committed to minimising the impact of cancer on people in our local community and funds are directed towards education programs and support services for those in need.
How to make an In Memory gift
You can make a donation online through our website or you can call us on 02 6257 9999.
When you make an In Memory donation we will send an acknowledgement card to the bereaved family to let them know that a gift has been made in tribute to their loved one. You can also choose to include a personal message with this acknowledgement. Make a secure In Memory gift now.
Donations in lieu of flowers
You can request that family and friends donate to Cancer Council ACT in lieu of flowers at a loved one’s funeral service. All you need to do is inform your funeral home that you wish to have donations in lieu of flowers and they will organise the rest for you. If you want more information about this kind of donation please contact Alice on 02 6257 9999 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.
