Cancer and your Finances Online Education Session

A cancer diagnosis and its treatment can mean changes to your financial situation. You may be dealing with a reduction in income and additional costs for medical treatments and tests while your usual day-to-day living expenses continue. Understandably, many people worry about how they will manage the financial impact.

Cancer Council ACT is holding a free online education session with an ACT Financial Planner who generously volunteers time and expertise with our Pro Bono Program. During the session they will talk about managing your finances after a cancer diagnosis.

The session is open to anyone affected by cancer, their families and friends. It will be conducted as an online video conference so you can join via your computer, tablet or smart phone and there is an option to phone into the session if you aren’t able to access the internet. You will require computer speakers or headphones to be able to listen to the presentation on your desktop. 

When: Thursday 19 November 2020

Time: 12:30pm-1:30pm

Venue:  Video Conference - ZOOM

Cost: FREE. Registration is essential.
